During the pandemic, I had free time to try out some new hobbies and find activities that relax me. This time allowed me to continuing exploring my own artistic abilities, starting off with embroidery. These designs are simple but require patience, precision, and a lot of time.
I gained experience with different media beyond acrylic paints, such as using charcoal and graphite in my two-dimensional drawing course. I will be taking a three-dimensional fundamentals course next semester, and my goal is to reflect on my experience with wood and soap carvings.
