Being hired as a new Resident Adviser during a pandemic is a daunting position to be in. At the beginning, I was overwhelmed about learning the basics of the RA role with every changing COVID policies layered on. My nerves are now at ease going into move-in day, knowing that I have the support of a wonderful RA staff. They have been extremely helpful throughout this week and I am so grateful to be part of this welcoming family. Even with masks on and six feet social distancing, it’s going to be a great semester. I can just feel it!
